GREAT-ER Web
GREAT-ER
is a simulation system for modeling the environmental fate of substances
in rivers with a GIS based user interface. The version GREAT-ER 2.0
(providing desktop and web-based user interfaces) has been
developed under the
CEFIC Long Range Research Initiative
(LRI) Environmental Exposure Programme.
The development has been performed by the consortium of
TechniData AG, Markdorf (Germany)
and Intevation GmbH,
Osnabrück (Germany) in 2002/2003.
This site is hosting the project's reference installation of GREAT-ER Web.
Anonymous Users
Access to a sample set of river catchments (the Itter in Germany and the
Lambro in Italy) is directly available with anonymous access.
Registered Users
Registered users have access to a broader collection of catchments and
can save simulation sessions (settings and results). Please
contact greater@intevation.de if you are interested
in registering for GREAT-ER Web.
